    MY STORY

I started playing guitar at age 12 listening to Van Halen which was my favorite band. I studied Eddie Van Halens playing and wanted to sound like him when I was a teenager. I was playing all kinds of rock and metal. I started to learn the blues at age 16  listening to Robin Trower and Jimmy Hendrix. I really loved playing that kind of music. Robin Trower was and still is one of my favorite guitar players. I love all of his albums especially the BRIDGE OF SIGHS album. That album is still a great album to listen too. I learned lots by watching his playing technique. I got into my first band at age 22 playing original music and some covers. I wanted to learn how to record my own music so I bought a Tascam Mini 4 track recorder. I was hooked on recording my own songs it was a blast. I wanted to step it up by buying an 8-track recorder so I bought a Boss BR800. I was at a friend's house  and I noticed he was recording on his computer. I asked him how do you do that. He said you need to get a recording software to record on your computer. After he told me that I purchased the PRO TOOLS software and I was hooked. I did after 5 years record using another recording software by PRESONUS studio one 3 at the time and now its Fender 8 Pro currently using now. I consider myself to be a songwriter. I write my own music and it's awesome to write what you feel. I work really hard to bring good music for people to listen too. I played in many bands in my lifetime, and it was fun, but I really like writing my own material and being a music producer. I also make my own music videos for my YouTube Channel The Musicians Lounge. Now I have a music catalog on here for people to download for free. I wanted to make all my music free for anyone to download for free to show my appreciation. Well thats my story I hope everyone enjoys the music thank you for listening to The Blues Voyage music project.
